Shout Out To All You Parents

Hello RebelRoses,
Today’s post is all about praising parents during the holiday season. There is so much work that goes into making a great holiday for children from the gifts, decorations and, meals. Growing up this was the time wishes came true. The wish list was made, Santa was informed and, the food was phenomenal.
This is also the time where money is tight, prices are raised and, stress seems to always be present. We want to appreciate how much parents do to help keep the magic of Christmas alive. People celebrate the holidays differently and some don’t celebrate at all, but the children are influenced from friends and from school.
They are taught about carols, they make decorations and, they read stories of magical places. The stores and towns are decorated with lights, trees and festive music plays everywhere. Parents are expected to do a lot without receiving much in return or being appreciated.
Now a days it is just expected for parents to go above and beyond for the family and kids. For many this is their first holiday with the kids, without their partner. For some this is their first holiday without the family. As fun and enjoyable as the holidays can be, they can be just as tough. Navigating through what is supposed to be a spirited, joyful, warm time of the year can easily be some people’s worst nightmare.
So to all the parents out there, and we mean ALL parents (those of angel babies, whose children have passed on, those who are separated from their children, and all others), we see you, we hear you, and we want to give you our heartfelt thanks from the deepest depths of our hearts for all that you do during this time of the year! Lord knows we don’t say it often as we should, but we hope this post helps get the message across.
